At Union Flag Company, we pride ourselves on fast, reliable shipping across the UK.

Order Processing & Cut-Off Times

  • Order Cut-Off Time: Orders placed before 2:00 PM GMT (Monday to Friday) are processed the same day.
  • Handling Time: Our standard processing time is 0-2 Business Days (Monday to Friday).
  • Business Days: Our business days are Monday through Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.

Shipping Rates & Transit Times Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the total weight of your order, or being oversized (over 6m parcel length - clearly defined on each product page).

Special Handling: Custom Products For items requiring manufacturing (Sewn Flags, Custom Handwaving Flags, Custom Bunting, and Banners), our handling time is 2 business days.

Special Handling: Oversized Items (Dedicated Delivery) Certain products, such as Single Piece Flagpoles (Glassfibre & Aluminium which are over 6m), cannot be delivered by standard courier due to their length.

  • Shipping Cost: £456.00 .
  • Transit Time: These items require a dedicated vehicle and are delivered within 14 Business Days. We will contact you directly to confirm a suitable delivery date.

Delivery Information

  • Tracking: All orders include a tracking number which will be emailed to you upon dispatch.
  • Couriers: - Carriers used: Royal Mail and courier partners including UPS, FedEx, APC and DX, depending on parcel size, weight and destination.
  • Dedicated delivery (oversized items): For certain oversized items (for example, single-piece flagpoles over 6m), we may deliver using our own dedicated delivery service or a dedicated vehicle. Where this applies, it will be stated on the product page and we will contact you to agree a suitable delivery date.
  • Packaging: We use recyclable and environmentally friendly packaging materials wherever possible.

What to do if your order is not received

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery time:

1) Check your dispatch confirmation email for your tracking link and review the latest carrier status.
2) Check that the delivery address entered at checkout is correct and check with neighbours, household members, reception/concierge, or any designated safe place.
3) Allow an additional 1 business day for carrier delays during peak periods.

If you still cannot locate your parcel, please contact us by calling 0800 5930415 or emailing us at sales@unionflagcompany.com with your order number. We will investigate with the carrier or our dedicated delivery team and keep you updated. If an order is confirmed as lost in transit, we will offer a replacement or a refund in line with your consumer rights and our Return and Refund Policy.
